For the Jerk Spice you need:
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon thyme dried
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon Scotch bonnet peppers flakes or cayenne pepper flakes
2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoon ground allspice
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper ground
1 teaspoon sweet red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
How you make the Jerk Spice:
Ground your spices in a mortar and pestle or in a spice grinder.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until fully combined.
Store the Jerk Spice in an airtight spice jar.
Use whenever you want to.
