Mango and avocado watercress salad

Mango and avocado watercress salad is super easy and quick to make and done in just a couple of minutes. This lovely salad is packed with fresh, sweet and sour flavours. A great combination between the sweetness of the fruit and the saltiness of the feta cheese. Topped with walnuts and cranberries.

Add new and exciting salad combinations to your dinner table with this mouthwatering salad. Perfect as a starter, main course or as side dish.


You need:

  • 150 grams of watercress

  • 1 avocado

  • ½ a mango

  • 80 grams of feta cheese

  • A handful of hazelnuts

  • 4 tablespoons of dried cranberries

  • The juice end zest of half a lime

  • 4 tablespoons of virgin olive oil

  • A pinch of black pepper

  • A good pinch of salt

  • ½ teaspoon of red chilli flakes, optionally


How you make it:

  1. Clean and dry the watercress.

  2. Half the avocado and remove the stone. Cut the avocado into bitesize cubes.

  3. Cut half of the mango into bitesize cubes.

  4. Add the watercress, mango, avocado, hazelnuts and cranberries to a bowl.

  5. Add the juice and zest of half a lime, the olive oil, salt and pepper to the watercress salad. If you like the salad a bit spicy, add the chilli flakes.

  6. Crumble in the feta cheese, mix well and serve right away.

Enjoy the salad as it is, with a slice of bread or with white rice. This dish is a perfect starter, main course or side dish.
